Why do we love this whisky?
Westward operates out of Portland where the vibrant craft beer scene heavily influences their distinctive whiskey-making philosophy. They source locally grown two-row barley and ferment it with ale yeast for an exceptionally long time to develop incredible depth. The unique Pacific Northwest climate then plays a vital role in maturation to create a genuinely terroir-driven American spirit.
