Why do we love this whisky?
The story of Pure Scot is intimately tied to the incredible revival of Bladnoch, the southernmost distillery in Scotland. When Australian entrepreneur David Prior purchased the legendary Lowland estate, he wanted to create a contemporary blend that paid homage to Scottish tradition while looking firmly to the future. The Midnight Peat release perfectly embodies this rebellious and innovative spirit. While the Bladnoch estate itself is famous for its delicate and floral unpeated malts, the master blenders have expertly sourced heavily peated parcels from across Scotland's rugged regions to build this specific blend.
