Why do we love this whisky?
Meikle Toir is the peated alter-ego of The GlenAllachie distillery nestled at the foot of Ben Rinnes. The team uses mainland peat from St Fergus to impart an earthy sweetness rather than the medicinal iodine notes found in Islay malts. It's a true expression of Speyside terroir backed by a relentless pursuit of wood management perfection.
