Why do we love this whisky?
As one of the last remaining Scottish distilleries to stubbornly champion traditional direct-fired copper stills, Glenfarclas produces a heavy, profoundly complex spirit that modern steam-heated methods simply can't replicate. After 13 patient years of maturation, that signature weighty malt has married flawlessly with the rich sherry oak, delivering a masterclass in dark fruit, baking spice and pure, unadulterated pedigree. The brutal reality of bottling a single cask, however, is that it only yields exactly what it holds. In this case, just 298 bottles exist for the entire world.
