Why do we love this whisky?
Located right on the banks of the River Teith in the Scottish Highlands, Deanston is a distillery unlike any other. Originally operating as a cotton mill in the 18th century, it was brilliantly converted into a whisky powerhouse in the 1960s, using the fast-flowing river to generate its own electricity. Today, they're renowned for their unwavering commitment to traditional, hands-on craftsmanship and sustainable production. This 2002 vintage is a shining testament to that ethos, crafted using completely certified organic Scottish barley and pure Highland spring water. By refusing to use chill-filtration or added colour, the dedicated team at Deanston has ensured that every single drop of this pristine Highland terroir shines through brilliantly in your glass.
