Don Julio and his family loving planted one last agave field in 2006, before his passing in 2012. The premium piñas from this field have been set aside to craft this incredibly premium, limited release. The Ultima Reserva is aged using a Solera process, maturing in ex-bourbon oak before receiving a final rest in seasoned Madeira wine casks. Loaded with beautiful, warming notes of toasted oak, rich caramel and sweet apricot, while complex maturation completely elevates the palate. An absolute masterpiece of a tequila that deserves to be sipped neat and slowly savoured.
