Bladnoch's rich history dates all the way back to 1817, and this 30 Year Old limited release marks a defining moment in the distillery’s long story. Limited to a 950-bottle release worldwide, the weighty bottle comes housed in a luxury carry case. 'Rare Release' falls short of capturing just how special the golden liquid inside the bottle is. Matured in two exceptional casks, Oloroso and Moscatel Sherry, it showcases gourmand notes of apricot turnover pastries, marzipan and warming nutmeg spice, complemented by aromatic Seville oranges and delicate floral notes.

Why do we love this whisky?
Bladnoch is Scotland’s southernmost distillery and often referred to as the ‘Queen of the Lowlands’. Distilled in the 90s, this golden copper-hued single malt has prevailed through three long decades, all the while quietly ageing in a combination of ex-Oloroso sherry and ex-Moscatel casks. A prime example of the virtues of patience, the decades-long maturation process included changes to the distillery's ownership in 2015, making it a rare, never-to-be-repeated, one-of-a-kind piece of Bladnoch history, indeed.
